Descaling solutions for kettles are available in a variety of options, including DIY and ready-made solutions. These solutions can be found at most large supermarkets. Everyone has their preferred method of descale. You can find this step-by–step guide for DIYers – visit us.

Step 1 – First you will need a cloth.

Step 2 – Next, pour one cup of vinegar in the kettle and allow it to boil.

The vinegar will heat up and remove the lime scale. The steam generated by boiling will also clean the kettle. The recommended cleaning frequency is once per 6 months. This will keep the kettle looking great.

Step 3 – Once the boiling process has completed, let the vinegar cool in the kettle and then pour it into a sink.

To clean your sink simultaneously, you can use baking soda to wash the surface.

Step 4 – If there is still lime scale at the bottom your kettle, you can wash the cloth with water and then dip it in the bicarbonate. The cloth can be used to clean the kettle of any limescale.

Step 5: Rinse and boil the kettle a couple more times to get rid all lime scale.
